Plot: After spending the night at his grandparents house, Wilbur looks around in their attic and discovers that they still have a few things belonging to Stella's mother, Deila. He stumbles across an old diary that belonged to the dead cat. He shows it to Stella, and the pair read it, which reveals the address of the original owner of Deila. With Nina and Grayson's permission, the two travel to Wisconsin to meet with her.

Meanwhile, in an attempt to earn Emmy and Paul's love, Macey and Jason --Grayson's parents-- take their grandchildren on a trip to Zelen's zoo. Paul is thrilled, however Emmy isn't as she had planned to work on her college essay. Emmy ignores most of the activities of the zoo, until she is informed by the zookeeper that the Old Panda, Lucia, is dying and the zoo has to earn the funds to purchase Lucia's medication. With her grandparents help, Emmy manages to raise the correct amount of money, however is too late as Lucia died overnight. Emmy is urged by the zoo to keep the money; she gives it to her grandparents, who spend it on presents for their grandchildren, son and daughter-in-law.
