Nina struggles with the many requests that her children are giving them for their back-to-school needs, so decides to round up the family and haul them to the mall.
Religious believers Edmund and Ellen Grimes arrive back from their 1 year spiritual trip after a tragic loss and spread their religious beliefs around town... much to everyone's annoyance.
Nina and Grayson compete to come up with a catchphrase. Meanwhile, Paul and Emmy try to think up a way to tell their parents about Paul's bad grade in Algebra.
Nina and Grayson attempts to assist close friends Helen and Jolene Partly-Farmer with their partnership problems. Meanwhile, Wilbur begins to ask questions about Stella leaving in the middle of the night and not coming back until late night.
Wilbur has a horror dream and decides to invent a machine to erase all bad dreams from existence. Grayson and Nina consider sending Paul to Military school, after Nina's father offers them the money to do so.
Paul decides to create a band with the Úvain twins and Troy Davros, however things don't go to plan when Zelen teen girl group, the Zelenistas, try to ruin their plans. Part 1 of 2.
Carrying on from the previous episode, Paul and his band and their rivals find themselves lost in the desert, with no one but themselves for the company. Part 2 of 2.
Stella's old friend Pepita comes to the Masson's doorstep, asking for a favor. One thing leads to another and Stella is forced to work with Grayson to get Pepita out of Zelen.
Emmy becomes rattled when Sean doesn't express an interest in going further in their relationship. Nina attempts to take an interest in Grayson's comics.
Grayson, Riley, Stella, Kamil and James get riled up when a fancy bar and hotel opens up in town which helps with Grayson and Stella's budding friendship. Emmy and Paul break Wilbur's favorite toy car.
Stella explains the importance of Thanksgiving to Wilbur by reimagining the much-beloved characters as fictional figureheads in this special Thanksgiving episode.
Stella gets a part-time job in a buttons factory to make enough money for a new typewriter. Nina pitches her corporate ideas on the family, but the situation becomes derailed when Grayson attempts to take over.
Grayson feels less like a man when Nina manages to set up the new television set, leading to a face-off between him and his wife as to who's the best at running a household.
Emmy and Cora get into a massive argument over the dance routine created by popular cheerleader, Karen Keatings.
